Summary

This site is a business directory. We publish information about companies, not about individuals. We collect personal information only when you choose to submit it — for example through a project enquiry, a factory claim, or an error report.

Information we publish

Company profiles contain business information compiled from public sources: company names, websites, business addresses, product ranges, certifications and publicly listed business contact channels. We deliberately do not publish personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, or individual employees' details.

Every factual field on a company profile links to the public source it came from. If you believe information about your company is inaccurate, see Claim a factory or Report an error.

Information you submit to us

When you submit a project enquiry, we collect the information you enter in the form: your name, email address, optional phone or WhatsApp number, company name, project details, and any message. We use this information to review your requirement and to connect you with manufacturers whose capabilities appear to fit.

When you submit a factory claim, we collect your name, business email, position, company name, optional phone number, and any verification link or message. We use this to verify your association with the company before applying changes.

We also record the submission timestamp and, for abuse prevention, the IP address and user-agent string associated with form submissions.

How we share submitted information

• Project enquiries. Your details are reviewed internally first. They are shared with a manufacturer only after we have shortlisted that manufacturer for your specific project. We do not distribute submissions to a list of vendors.
• Claims and error reports. Retained internally for review. Not published.
• Service providers. We use hosting, database and email delivery providers to operate the site. These providers process data on our instructions.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the site or others.

Analytics and cookies

We use privacy-oriented analytics to understand aggregate traffic — page views, referrers and country. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Data retention

Project enquiries and claims are retained while they are operationally useful and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You may request deletion — see below.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted to us. Contact us using the address on the About page or via Report an error. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights (for example the GDPR or CCPA), those rights apply to the extent they are mandatory.

Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect submitted data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
