What we use and why

Strictly necessary

A session cookie is set for the administration area so that staff can stay signed in. It is not used for tracking, is not set for ordinary visitors, and is removed when you sign out or the session expires.

Local storage (not a cookie)

The comparison feature stores the list of manufacturers you have selected in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear the comparison list or your browser data.

Analytics

We use privacy-oriented, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate site usage: page views, referring sites, and country. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build cross-site profiles, and we do not sell data. Analytics is only active when a measurement domain has been configured for the deployment.

Third parties

Following a link to a manufacturer's website or to a B2B platform takes you to a site with its own cookie practices, which we do not control. Review their policies before using those sites.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the administration area from working, but has no effect on the public directory.
